Position: 

Volunteer Marketing Manager – Social / Digital Media Execution

Summary:

The Marketing Manager will collaborate with and report directly to the Director of Communications along with facilitating needs of the chapter and its Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Board of Directors to create social media calendar and direction
  • Post on all social media channels (IG, FB, LinkedIn)
  • Engage with current and new followers
  • Help create campaigns and promote events
  • Develop initial monthly content calendar
  • Manage and execute Hubspot email campaigns
  • Collaborate w/ the marketing, communications, membership, and other internal departments
  • Research and recommend new tools/technologies for chapter adoption
  • Work with Tech team to Integrate digital tools such as CRM, website, email, messaging, social media

Skills and Requirements:

  • Manage and grow social media following across channels
  • Community management and engagement
  • CRM/Hubspot integration for email, website, and other digital tools
  • Understanding of Social/Digital marketing techniques and best practices
  • Must possess excellent prioritization skills in order to meet deadlines
  • Accept constructive feedback 
  • Communicates adequately both in verbal and written form
  • Self-starter; ability to take and lead projects independently while following direction and vision.

Qualifications:

  • Social Media/Marketing Manager: 2 years (Required)
  • BA degree or related education: Marketing/Communications

Schedule:

  • On call
  • Approximately 5 hours per week with additional hours as needed
